Operator review required before public launch: The operator must publish its legal name, contact email, jurisdiction, support and deletion contact, infrastructure locations, incident process, and any legally required notices here. These details have not yet been supplied.

An independent backup service

Archive is not Telegram and is not operated or endorsed by Telegram. Connecting your account authorizes us to access supported Telegram cloud data available through that account. We import accessible historical private one-to-one conversations and continuously synchronize new messages and edits. Supported photos, videos, voice messages, documents, and other downloadable media may be copied. Groups, channels, identifiable bots, and inaccessible Secret Chats are excluded.

What is stored

We store your account identity, a hash of your application password, consent records, private conversation contacts, messages, timestamps, reply and forwarding references, and supported media. Message data is stored in the configured PostgreSQL database infrastructure. Media and Telegram authentication session data are stored on the service's server infrastructure. Login codes and Telegram two-step verification passwords are used for verification and are not retained.

Copies outside Telegram

Backups are separate copies outside Telegram. Telegram's security features do not automatically protect those copies. The service uses authenticated access and encrypted transport but does not provide end-to-end encrypted backups. Authorized service personnel may access stored information when necessary for operation, security, support, troubleshooting, compliance, and responding to user requests. Privileged archive access is restricted and audited. We do not sell message contents.

Read-only access

The application does not send, edit, delete, react to, or forward Telegram messages, and does not modify your contacts or conversations. It uses account authorization to read supported content. Telegram session credentials are sensitive and allow account access; you may revoke the device session from Telegram's Settings → Devices at any time.

Retention and deletion

By default, archived messages are retained for 60 days from the time this service first archives them, even if the original Telegram message is older. The active retention period is shown in Settings. Daily cleanup removes expired messages and unreferenced media; orphan file cleanup may take an additional day. Editing a message does not reset its retention clock. Telegram deletions do not automatically delete existing archived copies.

Disconnecting stops future synchronization and removes the local Telegram session, but does not erase already archived data. Delete My Archive is a separate action in Settings that removes archived conversations, media, and local session data. Your application account and consent records remain. Contact the operator to request account deletion. Offline infrastructure backups may retain copies according to the operator's published backup policy.

Operational records and cookies

Essential cookies maintain your signed-in session and protect forms. We retain consent evidence and security audit records without message bodies. Audit records may include a source IP. The operator must set and publish retention for account, consent, audit, and infrastructure backup records before launch.

Availability and changes

Telegram access, server capacity, network failures, and media availability can affect completeness. We may update this policy with a new version and provide notice of material changes. No claim of specific legal compliance is made by this template.

Billing and email notifications

We store your verified email address, subscription period, and payment references. Maya processes checkout; we do not store card numbers or CVV. Resend sends email verification, trial and renewal reminders, receipts, and service notifications from tgarchive@jcit.digital. The operator receives subscription payment notifications. Archive message contents are not included in these emails. Message retention remains 60 days from first archive; billing and delivery records are separate from message retention.
